Spellbound

I am totally in love with how this image makes me feel.. relaxing and magical! I'm especially in awe of the depth shape of the mane and the little birdies lifting the couple of strands of hair. So cute and definitely a nice touch! Let's also bring attention that amazing background! Wow! Definitely makes me wish I could snuggle up beside the unicorn (amazing color change - wow!!) and watch those stars twinkle away in the sky. I do wish that there was a bit of a glow added to the horse's face.. I didn't notice the glowing flower right away and I think that having added some highlights to the face would have draw my attention to it more quickly, especially since it's such a beautiful and delicate touch to the image! Also, I lose a bit of the effect of the mane because it looks a little blurry, so I think adding some sharpness to it would have brought the wow factor up a little more but it's still a stunning mane nonetheless! And one last adjustment to this near perfect image would be to just bring a little more blue tones to the horse to even out and color tones in this image.. he stands out just a little too much and I think just adjusting the color balance would have made it look like he's actually laying in a beautiful night scene and brought a whole new level of realism to this image! But, as I said, it's totally gorgeous, the adjustments I mentioned are small and don't hinder the obvious hard work and attention to deal in this image at all! Beautiful work!
